
Dr. Clarissa Kuhns began her TaeKwonDo career in 7th grade in Nuevo Laredo,
Tamaulipas. She left the sport shortly thereafter and didn't return until she joined the Texas A&M TaeKwonDo Team in 2001,
where she met Master Jesse. She was a member of the team throughout her undergraduate and graduate schooling. Clarissa
helped coordinate and run the 2007 National Collegiate TaeKwonDo Tournament in College Station, Texas. She has medaled
numerous times at Collegiate and National tournaments. Ms. Clarissa received her Doctoral degree in School Psychology
at Texas A&M University-College Station in August 2008 and currently works as a Licensed Psychologist at United
Independent School District. Along with Master Jesse, she shares a passion for the sport
of TaeKwonDo and assists in teaching class whenever possible.
